Design
Precision Tower Systems(PTS) can design guyed or self support towers to meet your needs. In meeting our client's requirements, PTS engineers consider location, wind zone, and loading requirements for the tower site. Advanced computer design allows PTS engineers to precisely determine correct face width, member size, and accessories for the tower application and other project requirements. All towers and anchor groundings meet or exceed wind load requirements per EIA/TIA-RS222F or EIA/TIA-RS222G standard.
Fabrication
Tower sections are fabricated in our shop to our design up to 1500ft using all solid rod members which are hot dipped galvanized after fabrication. Our master welders are certified in all forms of welding for mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. All welds meet AIW D1.1 and AISC standards, and work is periodically evaluated by an independent inspector to insure the highest quality product.
We are a company you can rely on for all types of welding, including level, vertical, horizontal, or overhead welding in the plant or in the field. We do not fabricate hollow leg towers and use only solid steel for this purpose. All of our steel is ASTM certified and hot-dipped galvanized after fabrication. Bolts and nuts are A325 hot-dipped galvanized structural. The galvanizing process meets or exceeds the industry standard. All pieces are given a final quality assurance inspection prior to shipping anywhere in the continental US.
Repair:
We troubleshoot and repair any structural or wiring problems detected upon inspection or as noted by our engineers or yours up to 1500ft. We replace guyed lines and anchors and plumb and tension. We work with you on scheduling. (rates vary based on emergency vs. non-emergency and normal business hours vs. nights or weekends).
Painting:
We use industry standard paint and paint to FCC specifications for your tower height (up to 1500ft) and work with you for the best time to accomplish this (rates may vary based on normal and nights or weekends).
Lighting:
We install or de-install and replace tower lighting systems based on your tower height and current regulations, including all wiring and bulb replacement. Our tower climbers certified for any tower height.
Relocation and/or Installation:
We remove structurally traumatized (beyond repair) communication towers, all sizes or we can relocate your communication tower to another site. We perform installation of your tower or one we fabricate, all sizes, on your tower site. Removal, relocate or installation includes foundation as well if needed.
Inspection and Reports:
We perform troubleshooting and communication tower inspections up to 1500ft. Our engineers can provide the reports you may need for insurance claims.
